Let us stop pretending. These YouTube channels that parade around as beacons of critical thought and religious deconstruction are nothing more than polished grifts for the soft minded. MythVision, History Valley, and Gnostic Informant are not platforms for truth. They are echo chambers for controlled skepticism, platforms of curated cowardice that claim to question religion but only attack safe targets.
They will rip Jesus Christ to shreds. They will mock Christians until their subscribers applaud like trained seals. They will tear Paul apart, call him a con man, a schizophrenic, a cult leader, or worse. They will drag the Gospels through the mud and laugh while doing it. But let someone question Jewish myth, rabbinic supremacy, or Talmudic contradictions, and they will either go silent or start throwing around the word anti Semite.
I was labeled one of those. Not because I hate Jews. But because I told the truth. Derek Lambert at MythVision, a squirrely little coward with no academic backbone, called me an anti Semite because I dared to call out the lies embedded in Jewish supremacy narratives. He has no problem letting people attack Jesus all day. No issue bringing on fringe atheists or recycled myth theorists. But if you point out that rabbinic Judaism is built on the same kind of mythical revisionist garbage as Christianity, suddenly that is hate speech.
Derek is not a scholar. He is not a thinker. He is a reaction video host who makes money playing gatekeeper. He lets others do the heavy lifting while he simpers and nods and praises anyone who repeats the safe talking points. And do not get me started on Dr Bob Price, who has more degrees than convictions. Bob knows the truth. He knows these people are frauds. But he will sit there with his hands folded and his lips shut rather than offend the wrong guest. He will never challenge Tovia Singer. He will never point out that modern Judaism is not biblical Judaism. He will never say what he knows because he is afraid of losing invitations to more cozy interviews.
Then we get to History Valley, hosted by Jacob Berman. A young man with limited understanding of religious history, who pretends to be a neutral moderator while platforming one-sided views and never challenging his guests. He brought on Jim Valliant, the author of Creating Christ, a reheated version of Joseph Atwill’s already debunked thesis, and treated it like groundbreaking research. It is not. It is derivative fluff, and anyone with academic training knows it. But Jacob brings it on anyway because content is content and clicks are clicks.
Gnostic Informant is another story. Hosted by Neil Sedlak, who blends pseudo mysticism with a curated atheist platform that claims to value critical thought but avoids real challenge. Neil has made his name by riding on the coattails of bigger guests, offering shallow summaries of Gnostic texts and letting his guests steer the conversation into soft safe territory. He rarely challenges nonsense when it comes from the right source. He nods. He smiles. He moves on.
These people will bring on Rabbi Tovia Singer and let him preach Judaism as if it is a pristine tradition untouched by myth or corruption. He believes in Kabbalah, in the Talmud, in rabbinic rulings that praise genocide and pedophilia. Yes, it is in the text. Anyone who has read it knows this. But no one challenges it. Because they fear the label. They fear being called names more than they fear being dishonest.
Meanwhile, these same channels tear down Christians mercilessly. They call Paul a fraud. They call the Gospels fiction. They challenge every miracle, every verse. They will entertain any theory about Jesus being a mushroom or a Roman invention. But they will not touch the Talmud. They will not question Moses. They will not discuss the genocide in the Torah. Because that crosses a line.
They are not truth tellers. They are cowards in costumes.
And what happens when someone like Amon Hillman gets invited on? They let him speak for a while. They get some clicks. And then they turn on him. They chew him up and spit him out once he stops being useful. That is their pattern. Use you for content. Then disown you the moment you get too real.
This is not scholarship. This is not brave. This is pathetic.
Jesus might have been fictional. He might have been real. But at least the man, or the myth, stood for something. These YouTubers stand for algorithms.
You want real truth? You will not find it on MythVision. You will not find it on History Valley. You will not find it on Gnostic Informant. What you will find is curated cowardice, manufactured outrage, fake neutrality, and a long list of people who are too afraid to call bullshit on anyone wearing the right hat.
The Torah is a Canaanite remix. The Talmud is filled with hate speech. The Septuagint is older than the Masoretic text. Jesus was not a Christian. And Paul was most likely Simon Magus.
Say that on one of their channels, and watch the panic. Watch the silence. Watch the smile fade from the host’s face as he suddenly forgets what free thought is.
They call it MythVision.
But it is just Myth.
And they have no vision.

Glad you are posting and a well read scholar.I agree abouts Tovia Singer Bob Price knows it is fiction but Singer is as delusional as any christian he loves to attack.A Messiah is going to come to the 21st century world and straighten things out ! God promised it to eventually happen ages ago ! 100 billion people will be judged for better or worse. And then enter an afterlife full of unknowns and irrelevance.....
